Spaces (2014)

I seek to paint the subtleties of the human experience using various Spaces that can represent a place, a relationship or an experience.

I try to show through this series my reading of a certain internal reality that arises from an encounter.

"In "Vínculos", Alejandra Favela, the artist and psychoanalyst, places us before the structural axis of her creative universe: the psychoanalyst-patient relationship extrapolated to the canvas.

The canvas turned simile of the office becomes a "transitional" space, where the encounter and the meaning of the experience take place. The painting thus results in the plane where it is possible to construct the meaning of our being in the world: 'metaphor of conflicts and affections'"
